Visit Highlands is responsible for driving tourism to Highlands, NC. Located in one of the only North American rainforests, this locale is an upscale respite nestled 4,118 feet high in the mountains. Its natural beauty abounds with rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and sweeping vistas, but it’s also home to a quaint downtown with James Beard-level cuisine and first-rate designer shopping.
Zehnder’s Role
Zehnder was brought on to develop Highlands’ existing brand tagline, “The Height of Happiness,” more fully, working to create an emotional connection with the visitor.
