The Challenge
To own Mother’s Day, Zehnder collaborated with Woman’s to amplify their well-earned status as an award-winning center for patient birthing experience. The challenge was to connect with the thousands of mothers who’d had outstanding delivery experiences at Woman’s – including strong emotional memories of post-birth excitement – and uncover which details stood out to them most. The secret ingredient they shared? The hospital’s iconic post-birth burger meal.

The Strategy
Through conversations with the Woman’s Hospital communications and social teams, we knew the post-birth burger meal was a fan favorite. Filled with essential nutrients, the legendary burger was created after a patient survey revealed a juicy burger was what new moms craved most for their first post-delivery meal.
The client’s social media account was flooded with comments from happy mothers claiming the burger was the best meal they'd ever eaten, with some even joking it was so good they’d been tempted to name their baby after it.
With Zehnder’s help, the client tapped into this shared emotional experience, illustrating the work that Woman’s does to make each birthing experience special. After conducting the research, we pitched the story to the features editor at the daily newspaper to broadcast this beloved Mother’s Day tradition far and wide.
